Tonight is the culmination of the 2019 awards season with the 2020 Oscars. The nominations weren’t perfect: no women nominated for Best Director, many actors and actresses were overlooked, including Taron Egerton, Eddie Murphy, Awkwafina, George MacKay, Jennifer Lopez, Adam Sandler, the list could go on and on. (Personally, I will die on the Taron Egerton deserved better this awards season hill.)
Below are my predictions, who I think will win, and potential spoilers. Please note: I am not predicting the shorts, as I didn’t get a chance to see them this year. Boo, I know.
Anyway, let’s hope for some surprise winners, as they make the show more fun to watch!
