Hollywood was back in action last weekend at the 28th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards. It was actually really nice to see some of the most celebrated performers in the world together to recognize the best performances of the past year.
My favorite part of the evening?

Yes, CODA took home Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture! It was such a great moment, and I hope this win continues to build momentum for the film as we inch closer to this year’s Oscars. And that wasn’t the only CODA win! Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role went to Troy Kotsur, who gave one of best speeches of the night.
Another one of my personal picks that took home an award was Jessica Chastain, who won Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role for her performance as Tammy Faye Bakker in The Eyes of Tammy Faye. This was one of my favorite performances of last year, and I loved that her peers recognized her for it.
